Z Proof Editing grew out of a lifelong love of storytelling and a professional career in publishing — and a desire to help others share their stories, interests, and insights with the world.

My name is Mark Zimmermann, and I have always enjoyed telling stories, even from an early age, when I wrote a book about my trip to the hospital for minor surgery, and I had my dad print copies at his office so I could pass my book out to family and friends. My parents lovingly encouraged my storytelling and writing, even gifting me with a typewriter one memorable Christmas when I was 12.
I majored in Professional Writing at college, and I have worked the majority of my professional career in religious publishing.
My desire with Z Proof Editing is to help others share their stories, interests, and insights with the world.
